ADI’s about page states that some engineers hold CSCS cards. Confirm the attending engineer’s card when booking.
Working towards certification
ADI lists the following as in progress for 2026. They are not presented as current certifications.
- ISO 9001 — Quality management.
- ISO 14001 — Environmental management.
- SafeContractor — Contractor health and safety assessment.
Not yet confirmed
Confirm the following for the engineers attending your school. The published pages do not supply enough detail to confirm them for a particular visit.
DBS checks
Engineer-specific checks and school safeguarding requirements must be agreed before attendance.
ADI’s recruitment page requires applicants to be able to pass a UK DBS check. It does not specify the current check or level held by an attending engineer; confirm these before a school visit.
Asbestos awareness training
Training evidence relevant to the work and the site’s asbestos information.
The ADI pages checked do not identify an asbestos-awareness provider or current engineer certificates. Request the relevant evidence before work.
Insurance
Public liability cover is £5 million. Employers' liability and professional indemnity positions are listed as awaiting confirmation on the about page, along with the registered company details a supplier form needs.
